Ignite the Light Gala

I really can’t believe that it’s already been an entire month since the Ignite the Light Gala! I’m so excited about the turnout of the gala and I'm so thankful for the amount of support Spark the Way received over one event, especially the first event. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of the donors, attendees and supporters!

By the end of the night, Spark the Way brought in about $2800 from the Ignite the Light Gala! When it came to the gala, my focus was on the headcount more than it was the income, so the funds were a blessing. The dream was to have as many people as possible in the room to hear about this need for young adult cancer support that has gone unmet for so long. With only a month or so of planning, having 125 attendees was a great, great success! The goal was met.

The funds that were raised gave us a boost and a stress-free end to 2015, as it covered the following expenses:

December & January Sunday Spark
December Spark Packs
Vogue Party Bus Visit
3 Months of Website Fees & Classy Fees
Annual QuickBooks Fee
Marketing Material

Because of you, Spark the Way is able to serve over 50 young adults affected by cancer throughout the next few months. THANK YOU! Not only have you funded our support groups and our initiatives, but you’ve helped Spark the Way grow so much that we've started the search for office space. You read that right- out of a crate and into an office! We may have just had that prayer answered, but stay tuned to our social media pages and upcoming blog post for those details. Also stay tuned for the development of our future endeavors with Tampa’s D1 Gym in kick-starting our Remission Rehab program!

Again, thank you for all of the support and encouragement you’ve given, and continue to give, to Spark the Way! We're on our way to big, big things and impacting so many lives!

God Bless,
