Killing Cancer with Killer Recipes

I am SO excited to tell you about the recipes we get to feature tonight from Now Go Cook! With a mission "to inspire and empower YOU to reach for better health, one meal at a time", Jodi has come up with some of the most unique, tasty and overall, healthy, recipes that I personally love and enjoy. Tonight, we focus on her top 3 cancer fighting recipes!

Just about every one of Jodi's recipes contains cancer fighting foods because they are made from whole food. And whole food is medicine to the body. The foods with the most C-Killing powers are those that are anti-inflammatory. Click the pic for the recipes and check out a few  foods with those powers in them:

Powerhouse Kale Salad

I was not a  huge fan of kale before this salad, and testing this out really changed my mind about it. I put kale in almost everything now! This makes a gigantic salad, so it lasts for days...a super great idea to meal plan with this recipe if you have a tough chemo week ahead or know of someone who does!               #dontkalemyvibe

Moroccan Chicken

Red Lentil Curry Soup

Curry's just cool because it has cancer fighting properties... dare ya to google "curry fights cancer". My other thought about this recipe is that it's a great one for those in chemo or radiation treatments that have those dreaded mouth sores. I remember staring at my Chick-Fil-A in chemo one day and crying because a fry touching that sore was pure torture. Soup is a different story...soup is sippable and not nearly as torturous as a waffle fry. And this soup in particular, will assist your cancer-fighting treatments!

**side note, in the mouth sore-free life, there is not a single flaw in Chick-Fil-A fries

So there you have it! Spark the Way's first collaboration with Now Go Cook! Stay tuned for more, try out the recipes and spread the word! Oh, and don't forget to leave your comments below when you try out a recipe or gift it to a pal! "Whole Food for your Whole Life."
