Just about every one of Jodi's recipes contains cancer fighting foods because they are made from whole food. And whole food is medicine to the body. Powerhouse Kale Salad
I was not a huge fan of kale before this salad, and testing this out really changed my mind about it. I put kale in almost everything now! This makes a gigantic salad, so it lasts for days...a super great idea to meal plan with this recipe if you have a tough chemo week ahead or know of someone who does! #dontkalemyvibe
Red Lentil Curry Soup
Curry's just cool because it has cancer fighting properties... dare ya to google "curry fights cancer". My other thought about this recipe is that it's a great one for those in chemo or radiation treatments that have those dreaded mouth sores. I remember staring at my Chick-Fil-A in chemo one day and crying because a fry touching that sore was pure torture. Soup is a different story...soup is sippable and not nearly as torturous as a waffle fry. And this soup in particular, will assist your cancer-fighting treatments!
**side note, in the mouth sore-free life, there is not a single flaw in Chick-Fil-A fries
